How Selah began

While exploring fostering, Melanie Reimer saw a gap in housing: a place where mothers could stay with their children and receive help with parenting and everyday life, while also learning to overcome trials such as past incarceration, addiction, homelessness, or other difficulties.

Our Christian foundation

We believe every mother and child is made in God’s image.
Our work is grounded in the Bible, and we hope mothers will come to know Jesus Christ as they receive care and support.
